Inti Navia wrote For Sword and Planet at nineteen years old. Currently based in Illinois, he studies screenwriting at Columbia College Chicago. In 2023, he was awarded the top journalist of the year by True Star Media for uniquely covering entertainment, current events, life advice, and more. He is also a writer at Goodberry Press, where he collaborates with other storytellers to bring tabletop adventures to life. On top of his creative endeavors, you can always find him writing his next venture.

Inti Navia was awarded this by his school, The Chicago High School for the Arts. Throughout his time there, he completed a novel, a novella, and numerous pieces of flash fiction and short stories.
Since 1923, the Awards have recognized some of America's most celebrated artists and writers while they were teenagers, including Tschabalala Self, Stephen King, Kay WalkingStick, Amanda Gorman, Charles White, Joyce Carol Oates, and Andy Warhol.
